Event “My flag”

On November 6, 2016, was held event My flag on the occasion of State Flag Day by the organization of Children's Museum Department of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.

At the opening ceremony, Shirin Melikova, Director of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum; Azer Abdullayev, Head of the Children's Museum Department of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum; Nuriyya Mammadova, Head of the Cooperation with International Organizations Department of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Aygun Mikayilova, Director of the Baku European Lyceum made speeches. They noted that the main purpose of the event was to provide information to children and young people about our history, traditions, and values.

Later, was displayed exhibition My flag and decorative-applied art works by the Drawing classes of the Children’s Museum Department. Here, also were presented patriotic songs and poems by the pupils of the Baku European Lyceum.
