The event dedicated to the 27th anniversary of 20th January Tragedy
On January 18, 2017 at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was held an event dedicated to the 27th anniversary of 20th January Tragedy. At the ceremony of honoring memory had a speech the writer and publicist, the witness of the tragedy Amir Pehlevan, the leading researcher of the Institute of History named after A. Bakikhanov ANAS, the PhD in History Sahiba Budagova, the chairman of the 20th January Foundation Shovgi Bunyatzade, the chairman of the Charitable Social Association of Families of Martyrs “Gurur”, Naiba Bekhbudova as well as the carpet artist Samad Tabrizli.
At the event Ilham Allahverdiyev and Fariza Nabiyeva presented to the guests the Sadagat carpet, which was made by Samad Tabrizi and dedicated to the victims of the 20th January Tragedy.
The artistic part of the event was accompanied by the exhibition Martyrs continue to live, represented by the Children's Museum Department of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, the fragment from the My white pigeon play authored by the playwright of the Azerbaijan State Theater of Young Spectator Tamara Veliyeva, the musical composition performed by students of the Kara Garayev Central School of Arts.
