Family Day

On March 18, 2017, on the initiative of the Department of Children's Museum the event Family Day will be held at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum.

The aim of the event is to unite common interests between parents-children, strengthen bridges of communication, as well as provide detailed information about history and traditions of Nowruz Holiday.

At the event will be presented various programs, including meeting with famous architect Elchin Aliyev; lecture entitled Shebkulah by Gulzadeh Abdulova, within the project History of An Exhibit; “You are a talent” and “Wish Tree” contests; Create your own carpet – computer program; Competition with Bahar gizi (Spring girl); “Semeni sakhla meni”– concert-play; “Carpet elements symbolized the Nowruz customs and traditions” thematic excursions for 40 minutes; Fairy tale time with the children's writer Gulzar Ibrahimova; Azerbaijani cartoons; Make orrnament on shekerbura; Color Nowruz eggs; Henna hand decoration; “Bahar gizi” (“Spring girl”) soft toys; Make Spring wreath and magical cards.

Family Day will be until 26 March, from 11.00 to 19.00.
