One of the major objective and challenge facing the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum is preservation, demonstration, promotion, and representation of the cultural heritage of Azerbaijan to the world. The museum conducts different educational works in this field. During the volunteering, the youth worked closely in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum’s Exposition Department, Culture and Education Department, Fund, Library, Children’s Museum Department, and others. Thus, volunteers obtained rich experience in the main activity area of our cultural center ‒ preservation of our national heritage and its attraction to a wider audience.
On May 16 of the current year as part of the International Museum Day, the “Museum Volunteers” seminar, which is a joint project of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and the Museology Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, was held.
It should be noted that in recent years the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum has become a large-scale educational center. Thus, all conditions for free of charge practice for students.
