The exhibition Echo of Soviet Azerbaijan. Carpet. Embroidery. Poster was the museum's one of the major projects of this year. The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum together with the State Museum of Oriental Arts organized and displayed this exhibition in Moscow. The exhibition featured forty exhibits: carpets of the 1920-1970s from the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum collection; carpets, revolutionary embroideries and their sketches of the 1920-1930s from the State Museum of Oriental Arts collection; and posters from the Mardjani Foundation collection. The exhibition, timed to the 10th anniversary of the inclusion of Traditional Art of Azerbaijan Carpet Weaving within the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, attracted great interest both in Azerbaijan and in Russia and received wide media coverage.
