Our country is represented at the General Conference of the International Council of Museums
The delegation of ICOM Azerbaijan National Committee represents our country at the 25th General Conference of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), September 1-7, Kyoto.
On September 2, Shirin Melikova, Chairman of ICOM Azerbaijan National Committee, Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, made a presentation The Land of the Rising Sun and the Land of Fire: Intersection Points at the session Cross Cultural Influences in Decorative Arts. The presentation met with great interest from the session participants and was accompanied by questions about the Ajdahali (Dragon) carpets, their use, and semantics.
