Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum invites you to the lecture Modern Interpretation of Traditional Costumes in Fashion. The lecturer is Sevil Karimova, PhD in Arts. She will talk about the influence of the traditional 20th-century costumes on world fashion. The lecture includes fashion show On the Wings of Time: From Tradition to Modernity by students of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, Costume Design Faculty under the supervision of Assoc Prof Aysel Azizova. The whole collection reflects the integration of Azerbaijan national clothing motives within the fashion trends.
