The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum organizes holiday program timed to Novruz.

Museum’s Shusha Branch invites everyone to Mejlisi Uns: Visiting the Khan’s Daughter musical and poetic evening on March 15, at 14:30, dedicated to Khurshidbanu Natavan’s life and oeuvre. All-comers will plunge into the creative atmosphere reminiscent of the famous poetess’s times. The film about Khurshidbanu Natavan will open the event. After, People’s Artist Gulianag Mammadova, Honored Artist Anar Shushali, and ashig Gamar Hasanaliyeva will perform as a part of the concert program.

The Azerbaijan Carpet Museum will host a premiere of the spectacle for kids Adventures of Jirtdan in Novruz Holiday, on March 16, at 15:30. Children will meet their favorite fairy-tale characters in a new adventure through the traditions of the ancient Novruz Holiday, and learn a lot of new things. The spectacle in the museum is unusual and very interesting! You can buy tickets at the museum’s ticket office – 3 AZN.

And finally, on Novruz Holiday from March 21 to 26, the Children’s Museum Department invites young visitors to take part in various master classes, including henna hand painting, shekerbura decoration, egg dyeing, plate painting using Novruz patterns, applique, making soft toys, weaving of shadda carpet, and drawing a postcard.
