The museum’s collection reveals that various types of bracelets (first whole, then later with clasps or left open) have been worn in Azerbaijan since antiquity. In the 19th – early 20th centuries, simple silver bracelets were made in the casting technique in the mold. Flat-relief botanical patterns, sometimes enriched with fine turquoise, decorated their surfaces. Sometimes, the middle of silver filigree bracelets bore a round medallion with a transparent flat stone in its center.
Gyul (flower) bracelets made by the shebeke method were widespread in Lankaran and Baku.
