Uchan Khalcha (Flying Carpet) Marionette Puppet Theatre Performance
Uchan khalcha (Flying Carpet) marionette performance, staged by the Children’s Department of the museum on the occasion of the Year of Shusha aims to introduce Azerbaijani carpet art to children and instil their love for our national and cultural heritage. In the performance, grandma Nabat travels with her grandson Omar to the magical world of carpets, where they get acquainted with carpet patterns of different regions of our motherland. The fairy tale Uchan khalcha and the script based on it, the stage design, as well as the marionette puppets were created by the museum staff and members of the Children’s Union operating under the museum.
