The 1st floor of the exposition concentrates on the development of Azerbaijani Carpet Weaving. Beginning with the simplest type of carpet hasir (woven mat from reeds or cane), it leads to the more technologically complex and perfect forms (palas, jejim, kilim, shadda, ladi, varni, zili, sumakh).

2nd Floor of the Exposition
The 2nd floor of the exposition presents pile carpets. They are divided into groups according to the classfication system developed by Latif Karimov, the scientist and artist of carpets.

3rd Floor of the Exposition
The exposition’s 3rd floor illustrates the development of Azerbaijani carpet in the 19th and 20th centuries. On view are the activities of the company Azerkhalcha and its important achievements in the development of the art of carpet making.
