On May 23-26, 2024, the International Museum Festival Intermuseum 2024, organised by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is held in Moscow. The event under auspices Museum is People, attended by the heads of museums of different countries, curators, restorers and other specialists in this field, deals with the role of individuals and audiences engaged in the development of modern museums.

At the plenary session of the Intermuseum 2024, Mira Mammadkhanova, acting director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, deputy director, PhD in Art delivered a speech, which was followed by a lecture on Carpet Museum: Universe Woven from Precious Threads. A wide lecture on the history of the carpet museum, its collections, educational programmes applied here and the modern building of this cultural centre was met with great interest by the audience.
