The cutting of the loom of the carpet took place in the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum.

The cutting of the loom of the carpet took place in the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum. The Malibeyli carpet belonging to the Shusha group of the Karabakh type is a replica of the 19th century exhibit preserved in the museum's collection. Classic elements called swastika and cloud are placed inside the lakes medallions that decorate the centre of the carpet, distinguished by its originality, colour harmony, and technological excellence.

The carpet was woven by Gulkhar Soltanova on the basis of the sketch authored by Sevinj Aliyeva, a carpet artist of the Traditional Technology Department.

The cutting ceremony of each new woven carpet, which enriches our national heritage, creates a festive mood in the entire team, as well as in the museum visitors.
