The Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum and Aziret Sultan National Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum (Kazakhstan) have signed Memorandum of Understanding.
The Memorandum aims to develop and expand bilateral effective relations, scientific and cultural cooperation and create appropriate opportunities for the aforementioned. The parties agreed to organise fundamental research in the field of museum work, exchange delegations of scientific staff for mutual study experience, send specialists to scientific and research conferences and seminars. The document covers other important directions of museum work such as: realisation of joint exhibition projects, preparation of exposition plans, exchange of scientific and methodological literature between the parties.
Director of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum Amina Malikova and Director of the Aziret Sultan National Historical and Cultural Reserve-Museum Maulen Sadikbekov expressed their confidence that the Memorandum will contribute to the development of cultural relations between the two countries along with cooperation between museums.
