Exhibition Restored exhibits

On September 15, 2016, at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was held the opening ceremony of the exhibition Restored exhibits.

At the exhibition were presented more than 60 objects, restored in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and the Azerbaijan Scientific Restoration Center of Museum Treasures and Relics. Among them were the pile and flat-woven carpets, carpet products, embroidery, traditional costumes, items of art metal, porcelain, glass and wood. These exhibits characterized by the material and the date of manufacture, are the magnificent examples of the museum's collection.

During the exhibition were organized master classes, where visitors could watch the carpet preservation process. Moreover, guests were presented a short film that reflected the mystery of restoring process and the ability of restorers.

The exhibition lasted from 15 to 29 September, 2016.
