A carpet from the collection of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum

Dear friends, we invite you to the series of lectures!

1st October 2016, 17.00 – “A carpet from the collection of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum”

In the lecture, will be talked about influence of Tabriz miniature school on the carpet-weaving art and carpets of Tabriz with hunting scenes. Additionally, the history of using hunting scens on the carpets will be elucidated. The lecture will be held in Russian.

Lecturer: Mira Mammadkhanova, PhD in Art and head curator of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, 
Mira Mammadkhanova has been working as a head curator in the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum for 25 years and she is the author of research works on the museum’s collection.
