Lecture and master classes on cheten in the framework of the project Cultural Wealth of Azerbaijan

On February 11 2017, at the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum was held a lecture and master class on techniques of making patterned cheten.

Firstly, was conducted the lecture by Taryer Bashirov, carpet-artist of the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum, member of Artists of Azerbaijani Union, and Sabina Azizova, Head of Shusha Branch of the Museum. They provided information about history, development stages, techniques, and importance of cheten in everyday life, as well as expanding of cheten craft in the European countries, causes of increasing in demand for cheten.

Then, was held master class by Taryer Bashirov and Gunay Ahmedova, leading scientific researcher of the Museum.

The master classes also will be on May 12.
