On November 16, 2016, based on the contract signed between the Azerbaijan Carpet Museum and the All-Russian Museum of Decorative-Applied and Folk Art, as part of a multi-year integrated program Heritage of Unity. Traditions for the Future, in honor of the 110th anniversary of the outstanding scientist and the artist on the carpet Latif Karimov, was organized an international conference Carpet Weaving Art.
